Lipid Gold is great for all skin types, especially those with sensitive or dehydrated skin. Those with very dry skin, may opt to layer a thicker moisturizer on top. All Stratia products are free of common irritants like fragrance, alcohol, and essential oils, but as everyone’s skin is unique, we can’t know how your skin may react. Lipid Gold is manufactured in small batches, so minor variations can occur. The color may appear lighter or darker due to the natural variations of Sea Buckthorn Oil, but the formula and effectiveness remain the same.
Lipid Gold contains additional cholesterol and we haven't been able to find a reliable source for pure vegan cholesterol, which is why it is not vegan. The cholesterol is derived from lanolin. Lanolin comes from the oil on sheep's wool and is obtained cruelty-free.
